“Small to see, strong to feel” is the slogan for Smok’s new R-Kiss E-Mod mod device that fires up massive vapor, comes with a huge e-juice tank, and provides sub-ohm vaping experience with its multiple coils.
The Kiss in this powerful mod stands for ‘Keep It Simple and Stupid’. The device with 200W maximum output is not only convenient to operate with a big fire key, but gives you such a strong hit that you find yourself swept over.
R-Kiss E-Mod is shipped with a pre-installed 0.17Ω mesh coil with a large bore for better airflow, and an additional dual-core 0.2 Ω mesh coil for quick heating process. The international version comes with a 5 ml tank, which compared to vape pens is gigantic and larger than the tanks many pod vape systems carry.
The two-colour combination makes R-Kiss E-Mod minimalist yet modern in style. The device is smaller than many previous mod systems, but throws as many wattages as many of you would like. The output is regulated by two up/down buttons located underneath a TFT screen, which displays important information such as watts, and separate level indication for each of the two removable 18650 batteries.
The Kit
Smok offers two EU and International editions for R-Kiss E-Mod. The EU version has a smaller 2 ml kit. The international edition is shipped with a 5 ml tank.
Minimalist Design with 5 Colors
The two-color arrangement of the device reinforces the minimalist design intended for the device, so does the cubic shape of the mod. Still, your choice is not limited. The device comes in five combinations: Black red, red black (there is more red than black), silver black, gold black, and navy blue combined with prism chrome.
Simple to Operate
R-Kiss E-Mod creates massive vapor when you press a large fire key on the left side. There are two up/down button to set wattage level that is displayed on a TFT screen. The screen itself blends with the design.
The Display
The TFT screen provides key information in four switchable colors. The information includes wattage, separate level of each battery, ohm, and voltage.
Small but powerful batteries
Although any discussion of mod vape systems with removable batteries generates a feel of cumbersomeness, the batteries that come with R-Kiss E-Mod are among the smallest and lightest in the market. The 18650 batteries are 7mmx44mm in size but compete with other batteries when it comes to holding charge. You don’t have to recharge them so often.
The Coils that have a family
The pre-installed coil on the device is labeled as Mini V2 A1. It has a large heating area with a huge bore. This 0.17 Ω coil has a single mesh. It provides better airflow to create vapor clouds. The other coil, Mini V2 A2, comes with dual-core, cobra-walled mesh for faster heating process. It, too, with 0.2Ω range supports sub-ohm vaping and generates massive clouds thanks to faster heating.
That’s not the end of the story. The coils have a massive family. You may buy from a range of around a dozen coils that the company sells separately. These optional coils help control the amount of flavor and vapor
16MM Thermoplastic Drip Tip
The thermoplastic drip tip, with a perfect diameter to fit your mouth, comes from DELRIN. The build quality of the device alongwith drip tip is good. The drip tip is installed by pressing it down, and you don’t have to screw it. The tip provides better draw effects.

Refill from the Top
Technological progress has enabled a state-of-the art re-filling system for this mod vape. You may refill the tank from the top. Don’t worry, the slot is leak proof. There are detailed instructions for the re-fill process.
Upgradable firmware
The firmware of the R-Kiss E-Mod could be upgraded by connecting the included Micro-USB cable with a computer. More instructions could be found on the user manual. The cable also charges the batteries.
